A large number of people sail along the Danube by ship and a great many vessels dock in Engelhartszell. Apart from a visit to the town’s spiritual centre, the Trappist Abbey of Engelszell, a tour of the SCHÜTZ Art Museum is also to be recommended. There the visitor is awaited by a cross-section of the works of leading artists of the nineteenth and twentieth century and selected contemporary art.
