Schütz Art Museum

Alone the location of the Museum lends this new cultural centre special attractiveness. Embedded in an incomparably beautiful natural landscape on the banks of the Danube between the episcopal city of Passau and the Upper Austrian capital of Linz, the SCHÜTZ Art Museum provides a new home for examples of the work of some of the most important representatives of Classic Modernism and an architectonic counterpoint to the Trappist Abbey of Engelszell, which was founded in the 13th century.
